Tasha Van Howe

I have many stories to tell, but writing them is the hard part.

Follow along as I brave this chapter in life.

Under the mentorship of NY Times bestselling author, Richard Paul Evans,

Tasha has written a story of grief, loss, and love.

Tasha has been invited as both the keynote and guest speaker and

can be heard on nationally syndicated radio and

Hey there! Thank you for stopping by, and Welcome! I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, where I knew I would be a writer early on. I started writing stories in grade school, completed my first book in junior high, and was on the newspaper staff in college. Honored to be a multiple award-winning author, I draw inspiration for writing through life experiences and the people I love. My greatest honors have been marrying my high-school sweetheart, Jeff, and being a mommy to one of Heaven’s sweetest angels, Brodie. When my head isn’t in a book or writing, you will find me on the couch with the hubby, watching a movie with a hot cup of tea. We enjoy using our free time to travel around the world and taking our dogs, Ari and Maxwell, on road trips throughout the U.S. Still based out of So-Cal, we continue to share our time giving back by hosting annual toy and jacket drives and a back-to-school fundraiser for our local children’s home.

fall in love, get married, start a family.

Seems easy enough, doesn’t it? When people hear our story, they often shake their heads in disbelief, and I find myself doing the same. Falling in love with and marrying my high-school sweetheart came so naturally; it never occurred to me that starting our family wouldn’t.

What did I do wrong? Does God hate me? High school sweethearts, Tasha and Jeff, always dreamed of having a family. Instead, they find themselves mourning the loss of their only child, then riding a roller coaster of failed attempts at IVF and a scandalous adoption that ended in heartbreak, leaving Tasha beginning to doubt the value of her life.

Through their losses and love, Tasha and Jeff begin to piece together a new and imperfect life, learning that sometimes it’s the imperfect and the unexpected that brings them closer together.

Miss Me, Always is a story about loss, depression, infertility, and the struggle to start a family. Through unpredictable times,

a love story unfolds from high school sweethearts through marriage.
